A continuous brush strip is spirally wrapped to form a cylinder brush. IBC offers brushes as coil only or as a coil mounted to a shaft or core assembly. A wide range of materials, densities and sizes are available to satisfy a wide range of applications.
CYLINDER BRUSHES - SPIRAL WOUND & COIL BRUSH
Coil Brushes
Coil brushes are ideal for applications that require constant brush pressure and contact. Brush coils are manufactured for field installation on reuseable shafts or cores. This economical design is available with various coil spacing, fill materials and metal strip sizes in steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
Spiral Wound Brush on Core
Spiral Wound brushes are designed for heavy-duty applications requiring constant brush pressure and contact. IBC brushes are made by spirally wrapping and locking a continuous fiber filled metal strip around a core. Brushes can be manufactured with various coil spacing, fill materials, metal strip sizes and shaft and core diameters in steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
Brushes can be dynamically balanced when required.
